Tips for Fasting
Consult your doctor: Especially if you have a medical condition or take medication that requires food when administering.
Stay hydrated: Drink 6-8, 8oz glasses of water daily.
Expect detox symptoms: Headaches and fatigue may occur as your body releases caffeine, sugar, and salt.
Be flexible & use wisdom: Modify the fast if needed for health reasons. Remember to pray and ask for guidance.
Fasting is between you and God: God is not looking for perfection; He is looking at the posture of your heart in obedience and surrender to Him.
Break your fast wisely: Be mindful of the foods you consume once your break your fast. This makes it easier on your digestive system. Eat lighter portions and try to avoid overeating!
