Prayer & Visitation
The purpose of the Vistation Ministry is to meet and fulfill the spiritual and physical needs of our congregation, who are unable to attend regular worship services and activities due to illness, bereavement or incarceration. This ministry strives to be like Jesus when He state in Luke 22:27b, “…but I am among you as he that serveth”.
This ministry will maintain, and be of service to those who are in the midst of heartache, sorrow, grief and sickness; will extend spiritual comfort and instill hope in the deepest valleys; will remind or make persons aware that, after a bad winter comes spring and with it, renewal and hope of eternal life; and will give a booster shot of encouragement to those in need.
The purpose of the Prayer Ministry is to lead the entire body of Christ into an awareness, that the power of prayer is made stronger by placing the world in God’s care; and seeking the Lord’s will for our lives for the sake of building up the Kingdom of God.
