Youth Department

The mission of the Luella Dunn Youth Department is to nurture and develop our youth such that they: 1) engage in worship; 2) grow in their understanding and live lives that honor Christ; 3) reach out to other youth for Christ; 4) connect with other youth in love; and, 5) gives of themselves in service to God, their family, community, as well as seeking academic excellence.

Our vision is to achieve and maintain a dynamic youth ministry that meets the spiritual and social needs of our youth, one that enhances their academic outlook, as well as one that fosters our youth becoming Godly successful adults.

	Proverbs 31 (P-31) is a ministry just for girls age 12-18 that meet every Monday evening from 6:00 to 7:20.  Young ladies, come learn how precious and priceless you are at P-31.
	Son of Solomon (SOS) is a ministry just for boys age 12-18 that meet every Monday evening from 6:00 to 7:20.  My son, seek Godly wisdom..it's more precious then rubies, more finer than gold!!
	Youth Choir is scheduled every Monday evening @ 7:30 or as otherwise announced. Come make a fresh new joyful sound to the Lord.
	Visual Praise Dance for youth meets every Tuesday evening @ 6:30.
	En-Rich is Sunday School for youth 12-18.  En-Rich meets every Sunday morning from 9:00 to 10:30.
	The Encounter is church for teens.  Encounter is held every 1st, 2nd, 4th and 5th Sunday at 11:05 a.m. or as otherwise announced.
	The Excell College & Career Minister provides ACT Practice Test, ACT Instructional Workshops, Financial Aid Workshops, Tutoring and Mentoring.  Sessions are held 4 times per year.
	Thrist and Thrive is bible study period designed for Sr. and Jr. High Students.  Thirst meets every Wednesday evening from 7:00 to 8:00.
	Serve every 3rd Sunday in Big Church and 4th Sundays in the Encounter.  Deacons should check-in with Bro. Shawn Emery by 10:30 on those Sundays.
	Youth Hospitality serve every 3rd Sunday in Big Church and 4th Sundays in the Encounter.  Youth should check-in with Sis Renee Gardner by 9:30 on those Sundays.
	Serve every 3rd Sunday in Big Church and 4th Sundays in the Encounter.  Youth should check-in with Sis Penny Emery by 10:30 in the “Sign Out” Room.
